Robert has over 32 years of extensive trial experience in the Massachusetts District Courts, Superior Courts, Industrial Accident Board, and Massachusetts Appeals Court. He has handled thousands of personal injury cases throughout New England, involving car accidents, motorcycle accidents, dog bite claims, wrongful death claims, pedestrian accidents, and more.

Robert began his legal career as an associate for Pichette, Reilly, & Jackson, followed by working as defense counsel for the insurance industry, then made Partner at Murphy, Lamere, & Murphy. Robert opened the Law Offices of Robert D. Ahearn in 1999 in pursuit of representing clients on a more personal and dedicated level.

A former defense counsel for the insurance industry, Attorney Ahearn knows the system, and will fight to get you the compensation you deserve for the personal injury that you didn’t.

In addition to his personal injury practice, Robert has assisted thousands of businesses and individuals with their collections needs. His collection clients come from various industries, including medical practices, construction, manufacturing, and the service industry.

Robert received a Bachelor of Science from University of Massachusetts Boston in Business Administration and Pre-Law in 1986. Robert graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 1990.

Robert was born in Florida and raised in Massachusetts. He currently resides in Marshfield with his wife Theresa, and they have four children, Ashley, Bobby, Maggie, and Dylan.

Robert is an avid New England Sports fan, and was even named a New England Patriots Fan of the Year finalist in 2019 for his charitable work with the Make a Wish Foundation. In his free time, Robert enjoys golfing, boating, fishing, and traveling.
